Large organisations are spending more on outsourcing than ever before. The best outsourcing relationships have long delivered more than just cost savings but, in the reset economy, more and more businesses are turning to outsourcers to develop and implement next-generation business models which enable globally distributed teams to drive innovation and the ability to respond to change.
We talked to 250 C-level executives (CFOs and CIOs) from Europe’s biggest companies to get their insight on the value of innovation within their organisations. The research showed a huge emphasis on the importance of innovation – 70% believe the innovation delivered by their outsourcing partners contributes to the bottom line performance of their business.
Yet only a third are actually measuring the impact of this innovation.
